My Go To Authors

People who hate reading just haven’t found the right author or book yet. There are definitely a few authors where I have read every single book they have written and am constantly checking their websites to see when they are releasing their next book.

This does not mean I love every single book without fault, but I will definitely have all their books on pre-order. I even subscribe to their newsletters so a) I know when they are releasing their next book, and b) I am a sucker for bonus content often available to subscribers. I once bought a book in print, then found out they released bonus content if you bought it as an e-book, so I obviously had to buy it again haha. Yes, I know, marketing schemes at their finest, but I have no regrets.

Some of my favorite authors are… (in no particular order)

These authors cover a few different genres including fiction, mystery, science fiction, fantasy, and romance. I am a big sucker for series because I can easily get so wrapped up in the book, I just want to live in the stories ‘world’ a little longer. Though this does sometimes lead to a book withdrawal or a book hangover, which is a real thing, look it up.

I also like to jump between authors and genres a bit. When I read in one particular one too long, it gets too repetitive. Even if the story lines are different, there is a certain formula to each style/ genre, and jumping around every few books helps keep me away from story boredom.

Thanks for reading. Let me know your favorite authors.

  1. I don’t think I have thought of my favorite authors. I have favorite books, however, I should try to read multiple books from one author that aren’t a series.
